Signal rankings are quantitative research outputs, not personalized recommendations. Values shown describe the current state of each trigger — an SMA spread is the gap between two moving averages, an RSI reading is the current oscillator level. They are not expected or historical returns. Past signal behaviour does not guarantee future performance.

Reading today's data

2,898 signals are active across 1,428 stocks, about 42% of every signal firing in this run.

ASML (ASML Holding N.V.) tops the table with 4 triggers firing, led by Golden Cross Active.

How trend signals work

The trend family covers triggers describing the prevailing direction of price rather than its speed — moving-average regime changes, trend reclaims after a breakdown, and failures at prior trend support.

Trend triggers are slower and less numerous than momentum triggers, and they change state less often. That makes a new trend signal a more meaningful event than a new momentum signal on the same stock.

Both bullish and bearish trend triggers appear here so the balance between them is visible on one page.

How confidence is scored. Confidence combines the trigger's impact rating with a per-trigger adjustment reflecting how decisively its condition was met, producing a score on a 55–95 scale. Readings of 80 and above are treated as high, 65–79 as moderate, and below 65 as low. Confidence describes how cleanly a signal fired — it is not a probability of a positive return. Signals of the same type and strength legitimately land on the same value, which is why this page ranks first on how many triggers are firing per stock.

Limitations. Signals are computed from end-of-day data and describe conditions that are true as of the snapshot date shown above. They are probabilistic research analytics, not personalized investment advice, and no forward return is implied by any value on this page. See the AIQ Score methodology for how these triggers relate to the composite score.

Trend Signals — frequently asked questions

What is a trend signal?

A trigger describing the prevailing direction of price — a golden cross where the 50-day trend moves above the 200-day, a death cross where it moves below, a reclaim of previously lost trend support, or a failure at it.

Why are trend signals slower than momentum signals?

They are built on longer moving averages, which by construction respond gradually. That makes them noisier to trade on a short horizon but more stable as context: a trend signal that flips is a more meaningful event than a momentum trigger that fires and resolves within the week.

What does the SMA spread value mean?

It is the percentage gap between the 50-day and 200-day moving averages at the time of the run. A wider spread means the two trends are further apart — a more established regime. It is a measure of the current setup, not an expected or historical return.

Does a golden cross mean a stock will go up?

No. A golden cross is a description of the current relationship between two moving averages. It tells you the structure is bullish right now. It carries no forecast, and it can appear well after a move has already happened.

How often do trend signals update?

Once per market day, from the latest completed run, with entrants and exits diffed against the prior session.
